History of Mt Nemo Scout Camp

 

Since Scouting began in Hamilton Wentworth in 1909, camping has been an important aspect of the program offered to our youth.

 

The book “ 50 YEARS OF CAMPING - THE HISTORY OF MOUNT NEMO SCOUT CAMP 1946 – 1996” was compiled by Rick Elop as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mt Nemo Scout Camp.

 

We are pleased to be able to offer this resource to Scouters and other volunteers who continue to make the camp a great place for youth of all ages to have adventures that last a lifetime.
